Students sometimes learn by groups to translate a text.

 Last term I divided the class in three groups. One group was reading about euros, other about pounds and the other about dollars.

Every member of the group had to choose a word from the text to look it up into the dictionary. Then, when the group had the meaning of the words tried to translate the text together. Lastly, every group said the meaning of its text in order to be shared with the rest of the class. So whole class got the translation of the three text about Money working in a cooperative way
